Once you've decided which shape you want, you'll need to buy the corresponding sizing kit to accurately measure each individual nail. The shape of your natural nail bed can impact the overall look of the press ons. For example, the medium almond shape may appear longer if you have shorter nail beds, giving the illusion of a long almond shape. On the flip side, if you have longer nail beds the medium almond shape may appear shorter, resembling a short almond shape.

Everyone's hands and nails are unique. A sizing and shape finder kit can help you determine if press-on nails will work for you. For example, if you have very short nail beds or extremely concaved or curved nails, then press-on nails may not be the best option as it'll be difficult to achieve a secure and natural-looking fit. If you ever discover that the standard sizes in the sizing kit for your preferred shape don't quite match, don't worry. We can work together to find a solution. For instance, if the largest size in an almond shape doesn't fit your thumb, it might be possible that your thumb fits the largest size of a coffin nail shape. In that case, we can customise the nail to the almond shape you desire. While we can't make any guarantees, we'll give it our all to make it work for you. You should only use press-on nails on healthy, strong nails that can support the weight of the nails and get proper adhesion. It's not recommended to use press ons if your nails are damaged, infected or weakened.

All new customers will need to buy a sizing kit before placing an order. A sizing kit is the most accurate way to get your nail measurements. This will ensure your Talaskye nails will fit comfortably and look the most natural. Keep in mind that: 1. Each person's nails are unique It's crucial to measure all 10 nails individually so we can create press-on nails that perfectly match the size of your nails. For example, one hand may have a larger (or smaller) thumbnail size compared to the other hand. ​Tip: If you're in between sizes, opt for the bigger size–you can always file away the excess, but you can't add material to a smaller size! 2. Difference in manufacturers If you use a sizing kit from a different press-on artist or gel extension brand, the sizes might not match with what Talaskye offers because manufacturers often have variations in sizes, shapes, and lengths for gel tips. 3. Different nail shapes require their own sizing kit The sizing differs between nail shapes. For example, your thumb might be a size 1 in the almond-shaped nails, while square nails could require a size 3. Using a dedicated sizing kit for each shape guarantees precise measurements and a perfect fit for your press-on nails.

Not to be confused with the mass-produced nails that you can get online or at your local drugstore for cheap, Talaskye nails are made with salon-grade gel tips and products. Other factors that set Talaskye apart: 1. Time and effort Each set is carefully crafted, requiring meticulous attention to detail and hours of work. 2. High-quality materials We use salon-grade 100% gel products, along with other premium materials like accessories, application kits and packaging. 3. Skill and complexity The intricacy of the design influences the price, as more skill is required for intricate designs. 4. Customization Each design is personalized to your preferences, making it unique to you. 5. Reusability Our nails can be reused up to 4 times with proper care, making them a cost-effective investment compared to one-time use at a salon. For example, a solid set priced at $40 can be used up to 4 times, costing you just $10 per wear. Don't forget about the time, gas and effort saved on having to go to and wait at a physical salon for an appointment.

If you applied your nails using liquid glue Nails glued with this method are meant to and can last you up to 2+ weeks. It's best to wait at least 10 days before attempting to remove glued nails. To remove them: Fill a bowl up with warm water and add a gentle soap and oil of your choice (like coconut or olive oil). Soak your nails for 15-20 minutes to loosen the bond between the press ons and your natural nails. Grab the cuticle stick provided in your application kit, and gently wedge it underneath the press on but without using force. The press on should pop off easily when it's ready. If the nail proves stubborn, give it another soak. Patience is key here, never force removing the press on as this can potentially damage your natural nails. Once the nails have popped off, grab a nail buffer provided in your application kit to smooth away any lingering traces of glue on your natural nails. Buff and smooth away any traces of glue on the inside of your press-on nails and store them for future application. If you applied your nails using glue tabs You can easily remove these the same day you applied them if you choose to. To remove them: Soak your nails in warm, soapy water and oil for 5-10 minutes. Wedge and lift – use an orange stick to gently wedge it underneath the press-on nail and separate them from your natural nail. Peel off the glue tab – use an orange stick to remove the nail glue tabs from the inside of the press-on nail in a poke and twist motion. Buff and smooth – grab a buffer to get rid of any adhesive residue.
